Alba Power announces ten-year contract extension with US client

Turbine specialist Alba Power has announced that a petrochemical client based in the US has renewed its contract with the business for a further ten years.

Alba Power is a firm which specialises in handling the overhaul and supply of gas marine and power turbines, alongside decommissioning. It has headquarters in Aberdeen as well as across the Atlantic in Canada and the US.

The company has been working with the US client in question for a decade already, with the new ten-year contract allowing further scope for new parts, innovative upgrades and increased levels of support.

Alba’s sales director, Campbell Archibald, said of the deal: "This has truly been a collaborative approach from the start, and whilst the client reviewed competitive options, Alba Power was proven to be the leading provider for these gas turbine services.

"We would like to thank them for their ongoing support and we look forward to working with them for the next ten years and beyond."
