Parliamentary Review co-chairman Lord Pickles attends grand opening of new MET laboratories

Medical Engineering Technologies have celebrated the grand opening of their new laboratory and office facility with co-chairman of The Parliamentary Review The Rt Hon Lord Eric Pickles attending as a special guest.

MET will feature as a Parliamentary Review best practice representative in the upcoming edition.

They test and validate medical devices and their packaging from their ISO/IEC 17025 accredited facilities in Kent and have been active in the field for 22 years.

The extra 500 square metres of laboratory and office space in the new building will house MET's quality assurance department and provide extra space for other business units within the firm.

MET's celebrations included a full tour of the new facility and a showcase of equipment and test methods, alongside canapé refreshments and on-site entertainment.

MET's Parliamentary Review article will offer further insight into the firm's work and the issues it has grappled with in the contemporary business environment.
