Founded in 2009, Mobility Vehicle Hire is a provider of
standard and specialist vehicles that meet a range of

When I established Mobility Vehicle Hire in 2009, the options on offer in the
sector were limited and people with specialist requirements were being let down.
With only two specialist providers operating in the UK, I witnessed the difficulty
a close friend with a disabled daughter had in finding adequate transport and
the knock-on effect this had on their daughter’s opportunities. Interested in the
potential of a company that offered such a service to a higher standard, I began
researching the possibilities and decided to start a business that was built around
clear values that focused on quality and attentive customer service. Today, we
possess over 30 years of fleet management and daily rental experience as a team
and operatenationwide.
We aspire to be market leaders in the provision of short and long-term specialist
and adapted vehicle rental provision across the UK. We set out our offerings
under the following six values: honesty and integrity, reliability and responsiveness,

Our products and services
Our vehicle adaptations range includes
push/pull hand controls, 14-way
infrared system, left-foot accelerator,
steering ball, pedal guard, easy-release
hand brake, passenger hoist and
boot hoist, while we also have other
specialist conversion requirements on
fleet and that can be requested. Our
wheelchair-accessible vehicle fleet
ranges from small Peugeot Partner-
type vehicles which will hold one
wheelchair passenger up to a 17-seater
minibus.
Vehicles have various adaptations,
some of which include ramps, tail lift,
internal transfer seat, hand controls,
auto opening tail gate, ride up front
and drive from stations. To ensure the
smoothest customer journey, we can
guarantee outstanding support levels
throughout the process while ensuring
that all aspects of our service are in line
with the client’srequirements.
We book the correct vehicle to suit
the customer’s specific requirements
and ensure the delivery date, time
and location are confirmed. Our
delivery team then carry out a vehicle
demonstration on handover and a
customer satisfaction call is made
on completion of handover. We
then agree a date, time and location
for pick-up and arrange for vehicle
collection.
Our customers enjoy the benefit of a
dedicated customer account manager,
who helps build a close working
relationship with the client so that we
best understand the client’s objective,
collaborating to meet and exceed
expectations.
The designated account manager is
responsible for ensuring that clients are
provided with support at senior, middle
management and administration
levels, while ensuring that all aspects
of our service are in line with client
requirements.

operation and account management,
making sure all documentation is
current and correct across all parties,
invoicing and commercial aspects,

monthly or quarterly management
reporting and all-year-round one-to-
one support.
Quality assured and constant
expansion
We have a simple, easy-to-use
number facility that directs clients
to our customer support team. Our
customer service and driver support
team have been fully trained in
vehicle adaptations, specialist vehicle
equipment and customer care
protocol.
Our customers have access to a free-
of-charge dedicated driver support line
covered by our customer support team
within working hours, while we offer
an out-of-hours divert to a support
team member for any emergencies
that cannot be taken care of by our
premium breakdown supportservice.
All our vehicles are supplied with full
RAC breakdown cover and an onward
travel support service.
A service and maintenance agreement
are in place nationally with Halfords
and Kwik Fit Autocentres covering any
unforeseen circumstances. Our vehicles
are also supplied with a driver quick
reference support guide, contact cards
and keyrings.

In February 2018, we moved into our
purpose-built offices, which are located
on the M6 junction 7 corridor.
This new development allows us the
space and facilities for our planned
growth over the coming three to five
years. The new site and new location
within the Midlands give us excellent
positioning to provide a nationwide
service with very easy access to M6,
M54, M5, M42 and M40 links.
In April 2019, we opened our second
office based in Chingford, Essex, with
growth plans for the northeast by the
last quarter of 2019.
We are constantly looking at
expanding into other areas, adding
vehicles to provide our customers with
a truly unique fleet.
It is important to note that this simply
would not be possible without the
hard work of our team with each and
every booking. It is a team effort, and
has been for the ten years we have
been working. Most team members
have been with us since day one.
We added the first electric vehicles
to our fleet during late 2018 and we
hope this will be the first step towards
embracing future technology as we
continue to grow.

This year's Parliamentary Review comes at a momentous time for parliament, as we collectively determine the destiny of the United Kingdom. 

On October 31, the UK will leave the European Union. The successful implementation of this process is this government's number-one priority.

Three years after a historic referendum vote, we will deliver on the decisive mandate from the British people. Trust in our democracy depends on it. Until that final hour, we will work determinedly and diligently to negotiate a deal, one that abolishes the backstop and upholds the warm and close relationship we share with our friends, allies and neighbours in the EU. But in the event that the EU refuses to meet us at the table, we must be prepared to leave without a deal.

As the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, it is my job to lead on this government's approach, should that scenario happen. Preparing for Brexit is my department's driving mission. But while I am leading this turbocharged effort, the whole of government is committed to this endeavour.

Ministers across Whitehall are working together to ensure that every possibility is considered, every plan is scrutinised and every provision is made. A daily drumbeat of meetings means that we are holding departments accountable, so that preparations are completed on time.

The chancellor has confirmed that all necessary funding will be made available. And we have mobilised thecivil service, assigning 15,000 of our most talented civil servants to manage our exit from the EU.

We will make sure that on November 1, there is as little disruption to national life as possible. Our trade relationships will continue to thrive, thanks to agreements with countries around the world worth £70 billion. Our country will remain secure, thanks to nearly 1,000 new officers posted at our borders. And the 3.2 million EU nationals now living and working among us can remain confident, with absolute certainty, of their right to remain in the UK.

Above all, our goal is to be transparent. Soon, we will launch a public information campaign so that citizens, communities and businesses are ready and reassured about what will happen in the event of “no deal”.

In my first few weeks in this role, I have travelled to ports and tarmacs, borders and bridges, all across the UK –from the seaside of Dover to the rolling green hills of County Armagh. I have heard from business owners and border officials, farmers and hauliers. They are ready to put an end to uncertainty. And they are ready to embrace the opportunities ahead.

Our departure from the EU will be a once in a lifetime chance to chart a new course for the United Kingdom. Preparing for that new course will be a herculean effort. But this country has made astounding efforts before. We can do it again.
